Co-ed Softball Tourney

On Friday August 1st & Saturday, August 2nd, 2008, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dubois County, in cooperation with the Jasper men's and women's softball league, will hold a single elimination co-ed softball tourney as part of Strassenfest. The tourney will be held at the Jasper Men's Field on Hopf Ave. Friday games beginning at 6 pm and ending at 10 pm. Continuing Saturday beginning at 8 am. Teams should consist of 5 men and 5 women. There should be a man pitching and a woman catching or vice versa. Players must be 16 yrs. or older. The tourney is for everyone, not just regular league players. There will be a $125 team entry donation which will go to BBBS. Teams may be sponsored by companies, businesses, or on an individual basis. A maximum of 15 shirts will be given to the winning team. Checks should be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters. No registration will be accepted without the total fee! Any questions call BBBS office at 482-2227. No refunds and no entries accepted after August 1, 2008. We have a limit of 15 teams, so be sure to send in your form early!!!  **
