Herzliche Gruesse und Willkommen zum zweiunddreissigsten jaehrlichen Jasper Strassenfest!

Willkommen to the 32nd Annual Jasper Strassenfest. This year we are privileged to partner with everyone and share in a weekend of fun, family, and community. Our theme this year for the 2010 Strassenfest is “Partnerschaft,” German for “partnership.” This weekend exemplifies the meaning of “Partnerschaft,” the way the community partners together to make the Strassenfest a successful celebration. During this year’s Strassenfest we are celebrating two great partnerships that are a direct result of the hard working, caring, and dedicated people of Jasper: we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Jasper Deutscherverein, a group dedicated to preserving our German Heritage, which is our reason for celebration this weekend, along with the end of a year-long celebration of 25 years of partnership with our Sister City of Pfaffenweiler, Germany.

The Strassenfest Committee and I would like to thank you for joining in the celebration of our German Heritage and for partnering with us to make our Jasper Strassenfest one of the BEST summer festivals in the state of Indiana. Please enjoy a fun filled weekend of entertainment, games, rides and camaraderie. Be safe, and God bless.
